The
Godin EPM Quantum II
The Godin EPM Quantum II acoustic guitar system provides outstanding sound
reproduction and performance.
The Quantum II is a hybrid system combining an exceptionally responsive saddle
transducer and high quality electret microphone in a simple, but very effective,
configuration. The microphone capsule, specifically designed for use in this
application, is mounted at the end of a 6 inch flexible boom integral to the
side mount electronics. Four rotary controls adjust microphone presence /
phase, overall volume, and saddle transducer bass & treble. Electronics
and controls are packaged in an easy to use and logical format complemented
with a finely crafted pewter cover plate.
Microphone signal can be added and blended either in phase or out of phase
with the saddle transducer signal. This allows the user to cancel (or notch)
potentially undesirable frequencies while accentuating others. This flexibility
in combining signals results in outstanding clarity and richness of tone.

Electronics
The
LR Baggs Element
The
streamlined and efficient design removes every unnecessary internal component
to improve the coupling between the transducer and the guitar. This substantially
improves the sensitivity of the transducer for a robust, lively and open sound
with great dynamics and a delicate high end.
The Preamp
The side mounted preamp features: hidden click-lock battery compartment for
easy battery changes; class A discrete FET input for warm, analog sound; volume,
bass, treble and mid controls.
LR
Baggs i-Beam Duet
LR
Baggs has pioneered the concept of combining an undersaddle transducer (Ribbon
Transducer) with a revolutionary bridge plate transducer (iBeam).
The iBeam Duet blends the iBeam and Ribbon Transducer signals with an onboard preamp featuring a very sophisticated set of controls for mixing and equalization. This is the ultimate in onboard acoustic amplification. Click here the pdf (Acrobat) version of the iBeam Duet manual.

Godin
EPM Quantum
The Godin EPM Quantum acoustic guitar system is simple in design and outstanding
in performance. This single source system features an exceptionally responsive
saddle transducer carefully matched to side mount electronics with rotary
volume, bass, and treble controls. The electronics and controls are packaged
in a small and easy to use format complemented with a finely crafted pewter
cover plate. In combination with the transducer, the EQ control range and
frequency content have been specifically contoured to provide a very rich
and full sound reproduction resulting in performance seen only in far more
complex systems.
Operating
Suggestions
Before
plugging in for the first time, adjust Quantum volume to minimum (fully counterclockwise)
and set bass and treble at midrange. Plug into endpin jack and amplifier.
Increase volume slowly to desired level. Adjust bass and treble to desired
level.
